Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service quality, and fostering a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in food service management, and a passion for hospitality. As an Assistant General Manager, you will assist in managing staff, training new employees, and maintaining high standards of production and service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Train and mentor team members on food handling best practices and customer service excellence.
• Oversee production processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Handle cash management duties, including cash register operations and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance member satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym areas in compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in customer service management or hospitality roles is essential.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Experience in staff training and development is highly desirable.
• Background in the gym industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively.
