Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Hospice Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression for our Hospice company.
  • Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a hospice office or as a hospice receptionist is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in customer support roles is highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail with strong proofreading capabilities.
  • Familiarity with data entry processes and office software applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
