Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses by developing personalized treatment plans and providing expert care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, contributing to patient well-being and rehabilitation across diverse age groups and medical conditions. Prior experience in hospital settings, acute care, or pediatrics is highly valued, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.

Duties

  • Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed examinations and medical history reviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
  • Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and health maintenance strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment adhering to all health standards

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Physiotherapist
  • Proven experience working in hospital or clinic environments or acute care settings preferred
  • Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physical therapy and rehabilitation
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate approach with a commitment to improving patient outcomes
  • Flexibility to adapt treatment plans based on individual needs and progress

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
