Senior Staff Developer (Full Stack & Architecture)

About the role

We are seeking a
Senior Staff Developer
with a deep track record in
full‑stack development and modern software architecture
. You'll shape and execute technical strategy across teams, drive high‑impact architectural initiatives, mentor senior engineers, and help deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑effective products.

What you'll do

  • Own full‑stack solution design
    for initiatives on public cloud platforms, spanning multiple teams and domains.
  • Bring hands‑on expertise in one or more of these domains:
  • Data processing & lifecycle management
  • Multi‑region data distribution & compliance management
  • Data quality, observability, and audit
  • Content & digital asset management
  • Personalized search and indexing strategies
  • Domain‑driven design (DDD) patterns
  • Embed security by design
    across the stack using cloud‑native approaches.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
    (architecture diagrams, ADRs, implementation guides).
  • Accelerate delivery
    by championing industry‑standard tools/processes that improve performance, agility, and time‑to‑market.
  • Prototype quickly
    : ideate and implement PoCs to de‑risk and unlock product and platform advances.
  • Partner with Principal Architects
    to define and implement robust, extensible, and reusable architecture patterns.
  • Mentor senior & staff developers
    through code/design reviews, pairing, and actionable feedback; foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
  • Translate business needs
    into clear technical specifications in partnership with Product, Staff Developers, and other stakeholders.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years
    building scalable systems, including
    2+ years
    leading modernization or tech‑transformation programs.
  • Expert in
    software architecture
    and
    DDD
    , with an
    API‑first
    mindset for loosely coupled, event‑driven systems.
  • Proficient in
    Java (Spring Boot)
    and
    Python (FastAPI)
    ; you build performant, cost‑effective services.
  • Extensive
    cloud‑native
    experience on
    AWS
    and
    GCP
    ; hands‑on with
    CI/CD
    (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong
    data engineering & integration
    patterns across relational, document, and warehouse engines.
  • Deep knowledge of
    DevSecOps
    ,
    Infrastructure‑as‑Code
    , and automated testing for reliable, secure delivery.
  • Commitment to
    AI‑driven development
    grounded in ethics and secure software delivery.
  • Strategic mindset for improving team velocity and impact by proactively tackling
    technical debt
    .
  • Strength in
    navigating ambiguity
    and solving abstract problems with a collaborative growth mindset.
  • Excellent
    communication
    skills; you convert complex user needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
