Duties

  • Lead the planning and execution of banquet menus, ensuring alignment with event requirements and client expectations
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service to maintain efficiency and quality standards
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food storage to minimize waste and control costs
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with event planners and catering teams to deliver seamless service from setup to breakdown
  • Manage shift schedules for kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and motivation to foster a cohesive team atmosphere
  • Prepare high-quality dishes with attention to presentation, flavor balance, and dietary accommodations

Skills

  • Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering operations
  • Proven supervising experience in a culinary or hospitality setting with team management skills
  • Deep knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety standards, and inventory management practices
  • Exceptional cooking skills across various cuisines with fine dining experience preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide kitchen teams effectively
  • Experience in menu planning, kitchen management, and food service operations within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Excellent organizational skills for shift management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
