production associate

Job Purpose

The Production Associate plays a key role in supporting the manufacturing process by performing hands-on tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting team members to ensure efficient production flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform 5s clean-up process in various areas.
• Clean work area and tools before and after work.
• Assists other team members with manufacturing duties.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

• High School/GED preferred.
• No experience necessary, previous manufacturing a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Knowledge of how to use tools such as hammer, screwdriver, nail gun etc.
• The employee is to regularly Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Pay start at $18:50 p/h (+ $0.50 shift differential) 

Monday - Friday 1st (7:00am - 3:30pm) & 2nd shift (4:00pm - 12:00am)

Work Environment:

Exposure to noise, fumes, and dust, while in manufacturing facilities.

Physical Demands:

This position occasionally lifts heavy objects and/or up to 80 lbs., with team help, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively lifts and carries heavy loads. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. It also requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
