Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Tamaqua, PA. This role supports resident comfort and facility cleanliness by ensuring the proper laundering and handling of linens and personal clothing.

Responsibilities

• Place soiled facility and resident personal linens into washing machines following proper procedures
• Fold or hang clean resident personal linens
• Transport and distribute clean linens to resident rooms in a timely manner
• Hang clothing in closets and place clothing neatly in drawers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning materials
