Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests during breakfast service. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will help create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food stations and dining tables.
• Ensure all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed throughout the service.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces after use.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking as necessary, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations by ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred, with skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or guest services is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for guest interactions.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not required.
• Must possess basic knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques if applicable.
