This role is essential for the seamless operation of our logistics center, handling everything from receiving goods to dispatching orders. You'll be involved in critical tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory with precision, ensuring the warehouse remains a clean and safe environment, and supporting the picking and packing process. Our commitment to operational excellence means we rely on our Warehouse Workers to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Safety is non-negotiable; adherence to all Safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to handle frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. While prior warehouse experience is beneficial, we welcome applications from individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and advance within the logistics field. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently load and unload shipments from various carriers.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse floor and common areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Assist with regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Report any workplace hazards or incidents immediately to supervision.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational targets.
- Ensure accurate handling of all goods to prevent damage or loss.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.
- Proven ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including consistent Lifting.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and tracking inventory.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to strictly follow all Safety protocols and wear mandated PPE.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and work demands.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential attributes.
