About
Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our growing logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, staging, and shipping materials, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. We place a strong emphasis on workplace safety , and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and utilize the required PPE . This physically demanding role involves frequent lifting , pushing, and pulling of materials. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, team-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Stage materials for shipping and loading.
- Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper handling and scanning.
- Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
