Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our growing **Logistics** team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, and distributing materials, components, and finished goods. You will operate various material handling equipment and ensure that inventory is accurately tracked and organized. A strong commitment to **Safety** and maintaining a clean work environment is essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. You will be a vital part of our supply chain, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
  • Store materials in designated locations using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Pick and prepare materials for production or shipment as required.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, if certified and trained.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Adhere to all **Safety** policies and procedures, including the proper use of **PPE**.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Support the overall **Logistics** flow of the warehouse by ensuring materials are readily available.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate basic material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse **Logistics** and inventory systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of workplace **Safety** practices.
  • Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
  • Must wear required **PPE**, such as safety vests and gloves.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
