In this position, you will be instrumental in the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Your primary duties will involve locating specified items within the warehouse, meticulously verifying quantities, and expertly packaging them for shipment. This role is a critical link in our **Logistics** chain, ensuring product accuracy and timely delivery to our valued customers. You will work in a well-organized environment, focusing on speed and precision. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you can perform your duties effectively and safely. Responsibilities:
- Identify and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic scanning.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Package products using appropriate materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and procedures, including the use of required **PPE**.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing efficiency.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damage to supervision.
- Support the smooth functioning of our **Logistics** operations through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand product codes and order information.
- Basic math skills for counting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be capable of **Lifting** up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to comply with **Safety** protocols and wear **PPE** such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Understanding of **Logistics** principles is a plus.
