We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our facility in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock counts, and ensuring the overall integrity of our warehouse stock. Your work is vital to our logistics operations, providing accurate data that supports efficient inventory management and reduces discrepancies. You will utilize our inventory management system to track stock levels, investigate variances, and assist in resolving inventory-related issues. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories of warehouse stock.
- Record inventory data accurately using our Inventory Management System (IMS).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate data entry.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for optimal efficiency.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Prepare inventory reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
