Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas, as a Material Handler! We need a proactive individual to manage the movement of goods within our facility, ensuring seamless operations from receiving to shipping. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Transport items to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Stack and organize inventory in designated locations according to warehouse procedures.
  • Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any issues.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Identify and report any damaged goods or potential hazards.
  • Support logistics supervisors and team members as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
  • Must be diligent in the use of required PPE.
  • Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
