Duties

  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face to face, ensuring each interaction is positive and solution-oriented
  • Assist customers with product information, order processing, scheduling, delivery, repair of equipment, servicing equipment and billing questions with clarity and professionalism
  • Receive inbound and conduct outbound calls regarding scheduling and service, along with follow up calls in order to verify customer satisfaction and feedback, while promoting new products and services
  • Maintain accurate customer records through diligent data entry utilizing custom water treatment software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when processing payments or refunds while adhering to cash handling procedures
  • Provide support for client services by resolving complaints efficiently and escalating complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to build rapport and trust with residential and commercial/industrial customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights, improve processes, and achieve departmental goals through analysis skills and teamwork
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, updating databases, and managing call logs to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required
  • Previous experience in a customer support role is required; familiarity with Routing and Scheduling techniques is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for effective client interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Office, Exchange) along with solid computer skills for data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent phone etiquette with a friendly yet professional demeanor during all customer interactions
  • Analysis skills to assess customer needs quickly and offer appropriate solutions or escalate issues appropriately
  • Experience in sales or upselling products/services is a plus; enthusiasm for promoting company offerings is valued
