Full-Time Resident Assistant / Caregiver – PM Shift

Shift: PM 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Are you passionate about helping others and looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity? Ingleside Communities, a not-for-profit, community-based senior living provider, is currently seeking Resident Assistants / Caregivers to join our caring team.
Located just 15 minutes from the west side of Madison, Ingleside offers a continuum of care including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living (CBRF/RCAC), and senior apartments—serving Mount Horeb and surrounding communities with compassion and commitment.
About the Role:As a Resident Assistant / Caregiver, you'll provide essential care and companionship to residents, helping them maintain independence and dignity during the overnight hours. Under the supervision of a Manager or Shift Leader, you'll support individual service plans and assist with daily living activities in a respectful, home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting residents with ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility, etc.)
- Encouraging independence and personal growth
- Providing medication reminders and documenting care
- Ensuring resident safety, comfort, and cleanliness
- Supporting nighttime routines, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' condition
- Engaging with residents using compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Starting Wage: $18.00 – $20.00/hour, based on experience
- Weekend and NOC Shift Differentials
- Extra pay for working holidays or picking up shifts

Willingness to complete required certifications:
Standard Precautions (prior to resident contact)
- First Aid, Choking, and Fire Safety (within 90 days of hire)
- Medication and Diabetic Care (within 6 months of hire)
- Transportation to/from the facility
- Previous experience with elderly care is a plus but not required
