Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic line cooks to join our team at the new Spaghet Red Sauce Joint in Williston. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, local food systems, and experience working in a fast paced kitchen environment. As a line cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our restaurant. We are opening 1/16.

Pay:

This is a tipped position, base rate is $14.50 an hour plus tips.

Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked.

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up kitchen workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
