Housekeeper/Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry and cleaning procedures, with a preference for those familiar with hotel operations and dry cleaning processes. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key qualities for success in this position.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facility spaces in accordance with established standards
• Handle all laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
• Operate laundry equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with dry cleaning services as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and storage spaces
• Follow safety procedures during all cleaning and laundry activities to prevent accidents or damage
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry and cleaning roles preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality settings
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills for managing linens, supplies, and cleaning schedules
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
• Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
