Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an experienced Manager to help oversee operations of our Cape Fair Flat Creek. Possible sign-on bonus and paid moving expenses for the right candidate. Manager responsibilities include managing people and enforcing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader, a confident decision-maker and take ownership of your role with our company. You will help staff develop and be productive, while monitoring profits. Our continued success in providing the highest quality of food and service to our customers depends on having quality managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Skills

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Manager or similar executive role
• Knowledge of business process and functions
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Food safety certification

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
