Location: Savannah, GA

Reports To: Director of Human Resources, U.S. Operations

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for our new 500,000-sq-ft distribution center in Savannah, GA—the largest among our facilities nationwide. This role is responsible for building the HR function from the ground up and directly managing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations for a high-volume hourly workforce. The HR Manager will work onsite five days per week, serving as the primary HR leader for the facility and a strategic partner to operations leadership and the Director of HR, U.S. Operations. The ideal candidate has deep experience in recruiting for hourly roles, strong community engagement skills, and proficiency using the full suite of ADP Workforce Now (Recruitment, Onboarding, HR, and Time & Attendance modules). Occasional travel may be required to headquarters in Oklahoma City or other U.S. facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions within the Savannah facility, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Leverage the full ADP Workforce Now suite for recruiting, onboarding, and HR management—ensuring accurate data entry, compliance, and seamless employee lifecycle tracking.
  • Develop creative strategies to attract candidates through local job fairs, community partnerships, workforce agencies, and bilingual outreach.
  • Build strong relationships with local schools, training programs, and community organizations to maintain a steady pipeline of talent.
  • Manage and track recruiting metrics (time to fill, cost per hire, retention, and pipeline health) and report results to leadership.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Establish HR policies, processes, and systems for the new facility using ADP Workforce Now as the central HR platform.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Partner with payroll and operations teams to ensure accurate timekeeping, pay, and attendance records through ADP.
  • Maintain employee records, HR data integrity, and reporting accuracy.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the onsite HR contact for all employee relations matters including performance issues, coaching, conflict resolution, and investigations.
  • Support supervisors with performance management and corrective action processes, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Plan and coordinate employee events, appreciation programs, and engagement activities to promote a strong, positive workplace culture.
  • Build relationships across a bilingual workforce, fostering open communication and mutual respect.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of HR, U.S. Operations to execute strategic HR initiatives, including culture-building, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Provide HR insights to site leadership on hiring trends, retention strategies, and talent development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the national HR network by sharing best practices and helping align site-level practices with company-wide goals.

Start-Up & Site Build

  • Lead all HR start-up activities for the new 500,000-sq-ft facility, including system setup, process implementation, and hiring ramp-up.
  • Partner with operations, EHS, and facilities teams to establish a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Play a key role in shaping the employee experience and company culture from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments with large hourly workforces.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
  • Strong hands-on recruiting experience for hourly roles in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, including Recruiting, Onboarding, HR, and Time & Attendance modules (required).
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices.
  • Proven success in employee relations, investigations, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Competencies

  • Self-Starter: Operates independently with minimal oversight in a stand-alone environment.
  • Recruiting Expert: Comfortable managing full recruiting lifecycle and building local talent pipelines.
  • Systems-Oriented: Advanced user of ADP Workforce Now for HR operations.
  • Strategic Partner: Aligns day-to-day HR work with long-term business goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Connects authentically with employees across all levels and languages.
  • Change Leader: Thrives in a start-up environment with evolving priorities.

Work Environment & Schedule
This is a five-day, in-office position located in Savannah, GA. The HR Manager will be embedded within facility leadership and engaged in daily operations. Occasional travel may be required to headquarters (Oklahoma City, OK) or other facilities.
