Host/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to fine dining standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and recommendations.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Handle cash register transactions efficiently, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations within the food service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer service.
• Proficiency in math for handling cash register transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
