About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the end-to-end development of our consumer electronics products. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in managing complex ODM projects from concept to mass production. You will be the central hub, coordinating all internal and external teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Program Leadership:
Own and drive the entire product development lifecycle for system-level projects (including Phone, Tablet, Wearable, Laptop, XR, Earbuds), from Kick-Off (KO), Design, Prototyping, through all engineering verification phases (EVT, DVT, PVT) to Mass Production (MP). - Cross-Functional Coordination:
Chair daily internal and external project meetings. Lead the reporting of project status, progress, material status, production, and quality metrics. - Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify project risks and drive cross-functional teams to implement solutions. Escalate critical issues to management, mobilize resources for resolution, and track all items through a Master Issues List (MIL). - Process & Documentation:
Summarize, review, and archive project Lesson Learnt, ensuring continuous improvement. - Stakeholder Communication:
Demonstrate strong organizational, coordination, and decision-making skills to manage project scope and stakeholder expectations effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Program Manager in the domestic ODM industry for mobile phones and/or tablets.
- Proven experience as a System-level EPM is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with the consumer electronics product development process and the functional responsibilities of various R&D teams. - Language Skills:
Strong English proficiency for daily work communication. Experience in hosting and facilitating meetings in English is required. - Core Competencies:
