Blueprint of the role.
The Regional Construction Manager will oversee and direct construction operations across multiple projects within a designated region. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong focus on leadership, problem solving, and communication to drive project success.
Here's what you will be doing.
- Will manage the entire construction lifecycle, from site preparation and utility coordination to final closeout documentation and site acceptance.
- Will direct field operations, include supervising in house crews and subcontractors.
- Will enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA requirements) and quality control programs.
- Will monitor project schedules, track expenses, manage budgets and proactively resolve risks, delays or cost overruns.
- Will provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Will act as the main point of contact for clients, subs, vendors, permitting authorities, and engineering teams.
- Will assist with material procurement, scoping projects, and negotiating bids and contracts with vendors and subs.
This is what we need from a great candidate
- Post secondary education in Construction Management, telecommunications, Engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in telecom, fiber or utility construction in a similar role.
- Prior experience managing field crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites.
- Strong background in interpreting construction drawings, fiber maps, and project specs.
- Understanding of fiber optic, coax, or wireless infrastructure (ariel, underground or both)
- Deep understanding of telecom construction processes, including civil work, grounding, power installation, and fiber splicing.
- Experience with materials management and coordinating equipment needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve field issues quickly.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate field teams.
- Clear written and verbal communications with crews, management, inspectors, and clients.
- Professionalism when representing the company to clients and municipalities.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings or weekends based on project or business need.
Your day to day Terrain
This position will be exposed to outdoor elements to include but not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, sleet, wind, uneven terrain, road noise and traffic. Will routinely work around heavy equipment and tools with moving mechanical parts. This position requires lifting materials in excess of 50lbs.

Pay: $90, $105,000.00 per year
