About
The Materials Planning Analyst II is a mid-level professional responsible for supporting the development and execution of material plans to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to meet production and customer requirements. This role works closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to maintain inventory targets and resolve supply issues. The Analyst II is expected to apply standard planning practices and contribute to ongoing process improvements under general supervision.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to ensure accurate planning and material availability.
Maintain material master data and planning parameters to support accurate system planning.
Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages, delays, or excesses to appropriate stakeholders.
Communicate with suppliers and buyers to follow up on material availability and delivery status.
Support production planning efforts by aligning material availability with schedule requirements.
Participate in root cause analysis of material shortages and assist in corrective action follow-up.
Assist in preparing reports for KPIs and materials planning metrics.
Contribute to planning-related continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on routine planning tasks and smaller-scale projects.
What your background should look like
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.
Skills:
Exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts.
Experience working with ISO/quality systems.
Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and basic logistics concepts.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,700- $ 107,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
