Lead Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure comprehensive coverage across all premises.
• Oversee CCTV surveillance systems, conduct regular camera tours, and monitor live feeds to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Manage access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization at all entry points.
• Conduct thorough inspections using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations and resolve incidents effectively.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergencies or investigations, providing detailed reports and support as needed.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action to safeguard assets.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, shift activities, patrols, and surveillance logs with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and access control technologies.
• Certifications in first aid (including CPR) and emergency response procedures are highly desirable.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or disputes.
• Familiarity with loss prevention practices and security protocols tailored to diverse environments.
• Ability to train and motivate team members while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
