Owner Operator

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our delivery logistics team. This role offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while handling freight deliveries across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with On Time Delivery and Customer Service, and a solid understanding of Delivery with Purolator / Amazon type. This position provides flexibility and independence, making it perfect for self-motivated professionals looking to manage their own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries. This opportunity will also provide you with option to become a Fleet Operator with Maple Air Inc; across Canada.

Duties

• Safely operate Cargo Van, Mini Van or SUV to transport freight to designated destinations
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive vehicle safety and efficiency
• Navigate routes efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams and take all pictures of delivery and address per requirements.
• Perform safety checks before and after trips to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving and Cargo / Boxes Delivery.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in logistics environments
• Prior experience working as an owner operator or independent contractor in transportation or logistics is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170.00 per day
