Electrician

GK Electric Ltd. (Surrey, BC) is an electrical and construction company based in British Columbia. We deliver dependable residential, commercial, and industrial electrical solutions with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. We are seeking a Site Supervisor with an electrical background who is ready to lead field operations. This role is ideal for electricians or lead field teams, coordinate operations, and keep every project running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site electrical and construction activities
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, BC Electrical Code, and CSA standards
• Review drawings and blueprints for accurate execution
• Coordinate manpower, schedules, and daily site activities
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
• Lead and support electricians and apprentices
• Communicate project updates using tools like Procore or SharePoint

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background (apprentice, journeyman, or equivalent experience)
• Some experience leading crews or coordinating site work
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC and BC Electrical Code
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle

Compensation: Based on experience and skill level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
