What you'll do
We're looking for an experienced Canadian Payroll Manager to lead full-cycle payroll for our
Canadian team. You'll ensure payroll is accurate and on time, compliant with legislation, and
supported by strong processes and systems. This role includes one direct report and
collaboration with HR, Finance, and external partners.
● Lead payroll processing using ADP, with support from Workday and Dayforce.
● Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation and company policies.
● Audit payroll, resolve discrepancies, and prepare year-end documents (T4s, RL-1s,
T2200's).
● Prepare and audit monthly journal entries and accruals with Finance.
● Supervise and mentor one direct report.
● Support payroll projects and identify process improvements.
● Provide payroll guidance to employees and management.
Who you are
● University or college graduate in any field.
● Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation – required.
● Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
● Strong knowledge of federal and provincial payroll legislation.
● Experience with ADP; Workday and Dayforce is an asset.
● Analytical, organized, and collaborative.
