Hotel Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in cleaning, floor care, and custodial management within a dynamic hotel setting.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform detailed floor care such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and conference spaces
• Handle laundry duties for linens and towels as needed
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during off-peak hours

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning and floor care methods
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles is a plus
• Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising housekeeping staff is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: $ $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
