Senior/Principal Blockchain Engineer

Description:Hybrid remote | 2 weeks per month onsite in Boston, MA, Jersey City, NJ, or Merrimack, NHCollaborate with engineers in a fun and dynamic environment and work closely with technical leaders and Architects to build a secure crypto platform utilizing modern software development practices. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor engineers on the best practices for Software development.Pay: $75 - $85/hr W2Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. AWS cloud – for application development, cloud native form of development. This person needs to be Senior/ Principal level with enterprise Java / Spring/ Springboot/ REST APIs. Hands on experience working on one or more blockchains such as Bitcoin, ETH, etc, and understand Cryptography.Experience Requirements:8+ years' experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages like JavaExperience with blockchains such as Ethereum, BitcoinExperience building resilient services in JavaProficient in databases and SQLAn understanding of microservice architecture and twelve factor app patternsAbility to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environmentsUnit and integration test automation using JUnitExperience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins CorePossess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutionsPassionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworksWork well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focusStrong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given timeParticipate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelinesStrong organization skills and attention to detailsExperience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plusExperience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as SNS and SQS is a plusEducation Requirements:Batchelor's degree in computer science or related field required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
