Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Mental Health & Addictions, this position provides services to adults, children and youth in the rural areas of Rosthern, Wakaw, and surrounding areas. The social worker provides services as a member of a multidisciplinary care team. Specific duties included: individual, family and group counselling. Additional duties include: community engagement and development. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Knowledge and Abilities
- Committment to self evaluation, professional development and ongoing self care
- Knowledge and understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Ability to work with individuals with but not limited to concurrent disorders
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals presenting with complex issues
- Knowledge in program and community development process
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counseling skills.
- High degree of comfort in dealing with suicidal ideation
- Knowledge in various mental disorders, etiology, treatment and intervention
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- High degree of comfort in dealing with violence, abuse, histories of trauma
- Ability to work independently
