CAD Technician

Echo NDE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America. In this role, you will support our tank division by preparing, modifying, and maintaining drawings and technical documentation. This role is 100% in office, supporting field operations.

Responsibilities:

• Creating/editing 2D drawings for inspection use and reports. Drawings range from simple to advanced.
• Provide CAD services remotely supporting field operations.
• Minor computer software/hardware troubleshooting as required.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.
• Provide general office & technical support to personnel in the field / branch offices.
• Assisting with computer network duties such as daily backup of shutdown network files and archiving data as required.

Requirements:

• Intermediate to advanced 2D experience using Draftsight. Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Excel 2003 or later.
• Prior experience with technical reporting & CAD layout drawings.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Attention to detail & problem solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and variety in work schedule.
• Ability to learn new skills, multi-task, work well under pressure, as part of a team, as well as individually.
