We are actively recruiting a skilled Material Handler for our busy logistics center in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods throughout our facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring that all items are properly tracked and stored. Your role supports the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. A strong commitment to Safety is essential; you must rigorously follow all established Safety protocols and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves frequent manual handling and the ability to perform significant Lifting. Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas and vice versa.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all material movements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (certification a plus).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
