Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota? Our dynamic logistics center is seeking skilled individuals to manage the flow of materials within our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials are moved, stored, and accounted for accurately and efficiently. Your expertise in handling diverse materials and operating equipment will be critical to maintaining operational smoothness and supporting our production and shipping departments. This position is essential for the seamless operation of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Stage materials for production, picking, or shipping areas.
  • Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and safety.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE diligently.
  • Assist other warehouse personnel as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and other relevant material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
