About
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision are crucial for ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning devices and pick lists to locate and gather products, and then prepare them for the packing and shipping stages. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and perform moderate Lifting of products. We are committed to a safe working environment for all employees, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use hand-held scanners and pick lists to identify and locate products.
- Transport picked items to the packing and staging areas.
- Ensure picked items match order requirements.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical stamina to stand and walk for entire shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Previous order picking experience is beneficial but not required.
