About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain efficient logistics operations. Your efforts directly impact the timely delivery of products to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and box cutters safely.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
