Join our dynamic warehouse team in Tampa, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick products for customer orders. You will navigate our facility, locate items using order slips or scanning devices, and ensure the correct items and quantities are selected. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. We require a strong commitment to safety and the consistent use of required PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders or pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to confirm picked items and quantities.
- Verify picked items against order documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking path.
- Adhere to all established warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all mandated PPE , including safety footwear and vests.
- Assist with other warehouse duties such as stocking, replenishing, or cycle counting as needed.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order information.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
