We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Worker to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is integral to our overall logistics and distribution efforts, ensuring the efficient handling and organization of inventory. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of essential tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for transit. Your accuracy and efficiency are crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will operate in a demanding warehouse setting that requires physical stamina for frequent lifting and a strong adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
