Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Ensure efficient and safe operations in accordance with company policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Optimize workflow and space utilization to maximize productivity.
- Oversee inventory management and accuracy.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with tasks involving lifting and material handling as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work culture.
