Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000/year & incentive bonus

About the Team
You will report to our VP of Retail Operations and manage our team of General Managers.
About the Job
The Regional Manager is responsible – through direct influence, direction, and delegation – for their portfolio of coffee shops, achieving the desired results in revenue, controllable expenses, and defined people metrics. You will achieve these results by providing excellent coaching to our team of General Managers (GMs). You will work with our GMs to ensure that we are always adhering to our service, product quality, and facilities standards and coach our managers on developing the Go Get Em Tiger leadership competencies that will be essential to their successful careers within the company.
Essential Duties
Raise the standards of execution at our Coffee Shops
Model the "owner-mindset" to our GMs so that they can teach it to their teams Establish clear standards that fall in line with company mission, values, and operational standards and practices. Communicate those standards daily and hold your team accountable to achieving those standards Achieve portfolio goals around profitability, revenue, and guest feedback Recruit, motivate, train, and hold accountable a team of General Managers
Build a team of highly motivated and successful GMs Succession plan to ensure access to a pipeline of internally sourced managers. Assist in the hiring of great managers externally when necessary Instill in our GMs accountability for their own growth through development planning Foster a safe and clean cafe environment for all employees and guests
Consistently achieve A grades on all CADPH food safety inspections at all coffee shops Coach managers on urgently addressing any issue that compromises our ability to deliver a safe and clean shop environment Effectively triage R&M requests and own R&M budget line Other Responsibilities
Attend and lead bi-weekly management meetings Give clear and direct feedback to staff in accordance with GGET feedback training guidelines, both in real time and during structured feedback settings Capable of performing and understanding duties of the other disciplines at a level of baseline functionality. (i.e. is an A+ barista and a competent cook or vice-versa) Support General Managers in shop-specific events and programming Find inventive ways to increase revenue Build long-term customer loyalty Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Must have experience as a multi-unit leader (manager of managers) in a high-volume and/or quality-driven food-service environment. Must have experience managing diverse teams. Familiarity with the specialty coffee landscape of LA and GGET's place within it. Experience working with Square POS and Paycom, or similar systems, preferred. Required Skills & Abilities
Experience creating and perpetually improving systems Good understanding of large-scale retail operations and the various systems supporting them Demonstrable ability to think critically and build solutions to problems you encounter Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong strategic perspective, with the ability to execute tactical day-to-day deliverables while elevating the customer experience Strong product obsession for coffee, food and overall quality Must possess a food safety manager certification or be willing to attain one within the first 30 days of employment Availability to work a schedule that regularly includes one working-day on the weekend Must be able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and for work-related errands Must be proficient with Email, Google Drive, Slack and Microsoft Office Some Reasons You Might Like Working Here
