The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working on the floor, supporting employees, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations and ensure all employees are productive and performing their assigned duties.
- Monitor workloads and priorities to keep work flowing efficiently.
- Track and maintain accurate inventory levels (materials, parts, and supplies).
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and management to avoid shortages or delays.
- Ensure company procedures, safety rules, and quality standards are followed.
- Address day-to-day operational issues and resolve problems quickly.
- Support scheduling, workflow planning, and basic reporting.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Previous experience as a supervisor, team lead, or operations coordinator.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to hold people accountable in a fair and respectful way.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience is an asset.
