Job Summary
The BMC Control Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure optimal manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating with supply chain, production, and inventory teams to align demand with capacity, utilizing advanced ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, demand planning, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on lean manufacturing principles and inventory control. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient production planning and inventory management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules using ERP systems like SAP and Oracle to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to coordinate demand planning, inventory management, and material requirements planning (MRP).
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control strategies to reduce waste and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Utilize forecasting techniques to predict demand fluctuations and adjust production schedules accordingly.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, applying lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality protocols during scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling activities and communicate changes effectively across departments.
- Support the integration of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and other manufacturing software to streamline operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, demand planning, and inventory control methodologies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP and Oracle.
- Experience with MRP systems and manufacturing software tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.
- Excellent analytical skills for forecasting, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and documentation.

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
