Overview
DoubleTree by Hilton Laredo is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Cook II to shape and optimize our hotel's food and beverage landscape. Position Summary
Cook II is an intermediate-level position focused on preparing consistent meals in line with Hilton brand standards. This role rotates between stations and supports banquet, restaurant, and room service production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute meals from standardized recipes and plating guides.
  • Set up and maintain assigned stations with prep and supplies.
  • Collaborate with Cook I and Cook III to ensure service flow.
  • Rotate through kitchen stations including grill, fry, and pantry.
  • Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Alert chef or sous chef to shortages or quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of culinary experience in a hotel or casual dining environment.
  • Familiar with basic cooking methods and terminology.
  • Ability to follow recipes and handle food safely.
  • Willingness to learn and advance to Cook I level.
