Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy office environment. This vital role combines administrative leadership, team supervision, and operational management to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly. Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of the flooring industry is also a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily office operations, including multi-line phone systems, and general clerical tasks
  • Ensure timely procurement of office supplies and services
  • Handle human resources functions such as maintaining contractor records
  • Oversee bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks using QuickBooks to manage invoices, expenses, and contractor payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate filing systems

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office administrative/clerical roles with supervisory responsibilities
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in filing and record keeping
  • Prior experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and positive phone etiquette

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Work Location: In person
