Senior System Engineer

We are looking for Senior engineer or staff engineer level with over 15 years of experience in Closures systems related field:

● System-level knowledge of sliding doors, tailgates, and latches.

● Understanding of actuator, sensor, and switch integration with Controller ECU and network.

● Integration of mechanical, electrical, and control components in closure systems

● Exposure and experience with different failure modes: motor jam, latch misalignment, switch failure, position sensor errors.

● Ability to adapt vehicle development experience to application and development methodology, creating new approaches when needed.

● Experienced in technical consulting and able to drive small engineering team with action plan

● Effective communication in cross functional team settings, cross functional team range from Firmware to Vehicle subsystem to Base Operation team

● Experience in transitioning automotive system designs from the early development phases to high volume production plus a deep understanding of the issues (and solutions) encountered during manufacturing and servicing high volume production automotive products

Salary range: $ 80-130K/ year, based on experience
