Apprentice Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various electrical tasks and learning essential skills necessary for a successful career in electrical work.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Support high voltage and low voltage electrical work as directed by senior electricians.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is advantageous.
• Experience or interest in high voltage and low voltage systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the electrical trade.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
