Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to restaurant standards and recipes
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, and assisting with menu selections
• Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage food handling responsibilities ensuring proper sanitation and food safety standards are met
• Assist in food prep areas, including basic kitchen tasks and food presentation
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or café environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
• Experience in serving, bussing tables, or retail environments is advantageous
• Culinary experience or restaurant experience is desirable but not required; willingness to learn is essential
