What You Will Do:
The Data Governance Analyst provides the unique opportunity to work with a wide array of clients to solve strategic, high-impact, and exciting challenges. Our consultants collaborate with stakeholders on all aspects of data governance, data quality, and data analysis to ensure client organizations are well-positioned to access, manage, and derive insights from data to inform diplomacy and overall decision-making.
The consultant will – among other responsibilities –:
Conduct research on different aspects of enterprise data governance, data management, and analytics
Prepare summaries of research findings and background papers for policy whitepapers
Develop templates and PowerPoint presentations
Help design stakeholder engagement plans and engage stakeholders on relevant data policy and governance topics
Track action items and coordinate meetings with staff and senior executives
Draft and manage completion of data compliance and performance reports
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
THREE (3) years of experience working with data governance, data analysis, or data management
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks, research and analyze client data, and utilize problem-solving skills
Experience and/or familiarity with data policy, data governance frameworks, and data quality standards
Experience with data analysis tools, strategy development, and/or project management
Strong communication/presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
Strong consulting skills: identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, driving initiatives forward
Ability to support business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers
Ability to operate successfully on remote projects as well as the ability to support hybrid on-site projects in the DC metro area
