We work to provide financial services to anyone that lives, works, worships or attends school in any of the 7 surrounding counties. CODE Credit Union is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an IT Support Specialist.

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support, manage computer systems, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure seamless IT operations across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including operating systems, networking, and enterprise support tools, in a fast-paced environment dedicated to maintaining optimal IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional IT support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Manage computer management tasks such as system updates, configurations, and hardware installations for desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Support desktop support activities across various operating systems.
  • Configure and maintain computer networking components such as LAN, VPN, and firewall settings to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, including applications like Microsoft Office.
  • Assist with maintaining and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and security protocols.
  • Utilize help desk tools to log incidents and track resolutions efficiently.
  • Provide user training or guidance on new software or hardware implementations to improve overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues involving computer hardware, network configurations, or system integrations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT support, including help desk roles or desktop support positions.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows.
  • Familiarity with network concepts including LAN, VPN, and network security measures like firewall management.
  • Experience with troubleshooting a variety of software applications, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot both hardware components and enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
