About

Thrively is excited to support our client, a fast-growing product-led SaaS company backed by Y Combinator and built by an exceptional team. They're transforming how home service professionals grow their businesses through AI-generated digital storefronts that launch in minutes and help pros get discovered, trusted, and repeatedly booked. They've been named a Top 50 Tech Company building for SMBs two years running and are entering a major scale phase with strong product-market fit, real momentum, and years of runway. This is an opportunity to join at an inflection point where the foundation is in place, the vision is clear, and the impact potential is massive.

Our client is hiring a senior, hands-on Staff Analytics Engineer to own the end-to-end modeling, organization, and scalability of their data. This role sits at the heart of the business, shaping how data flows, how decisions get made, and how the company measures, experiments, and grows. You'll create the trusted, reusable data layers that power every team- transforming data from systems like Stripe, Twilio, Dialpad, Salesloft, HubSpot, and internal product sources into clean, accurate models. If you love building at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and business strategy, this is a seat with real ownership and visibility.

What You'll Do:

• Build and own centralized data assets that answer the company's most important operational questions

• Develop scalable, well-structured models in dbt and Snowflake across SaaS-level datasets

• Model Stripe payments, subscriptions, and revenue with precision

• Set the standard for SQL quality, documentation, testing, governance, and reusability

• Lead complex BI and analytics initiatives from design through production

• Define company-wide analytics engineering best practices

• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Sales, CX, and Leadership

• Help shape the long-term vision of the company's analytics architecture and data strategy

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years in Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, or similar roles

• Experience in SaaS or adjacent cloud/product-led industries

• Strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and advanced SQL

• Deep experience working with Stripe payments and subscription data

• Ability to design and own scalable modeling layers (facts, marts, metrics)

• Experience with BI tools such as Hex or Looker

• A mindset centered around accuracy, clarity, trust, and usability

Bonus Points:

• Experience with product analytics tools like Heap

• Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesloft, Twilio, and Dialpad

• High-growth startup experience

What They Offer:

• Full medical, dental, and vision

• Workspace and equipment support

• Monthly mental and physical wellness stipend

• 401(k)

• Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and a volunteer day

• Wellhub membership

• Dinner coverage with Uber Eats and an onsite stocked kitchen

• Significant ownership and responsibility

• A fun, humble, dog-friendly team culture

If you're energized by building high-impact data systems in a fast-moving tech environment, we'd love to speak with you.
